Kinds of Tea Bag Packing Material2019-10-10 By Packing Machine

There are many kinds of tea bag packing material on market, each packaging material has different characteristics, so let's introduce a few of them.
Tea Bag Packing Material

1. PE bag:
Polyethylene bags, is PE bags, are currently widely used packaging materials. Generally, there are two types: low-density PE bags and high-density PE bags. Low-density PE bags are highly permeable and breathable, and high-density PE bags are small.

The advantages of the PE bag are economical, cheap, and moisture-proof. The shortcomings are light transmission and weak gas resistance, and cannot be used alone for tea packaging. It is best to add a film that is light-blocking and has low gas permeability.

2. Metal can
The metal iron can has the advantages of resistance to extrusion and good texture. In the early stage, it was mainly used in the inner packaging of the PE bag for the outer packaging of the tea bag, but it is less used because of its high price and corrosion and rust deformation.

3. Synthetic paper can
Synthetic paper can is the most widely used packaging material. Its advantages are economical, light, beautiful, breathable and moisture permeable. Therefore, it is not suitable for use alone. It is best to use PE bag or aluminum foil bag for inner packaging.

4. Foil bag
The aluminum foil bag is beautiful and has the advantages of being opaque, moisture-proof and oxygen-blocking, but the price is relatively expensive, and there is a problem of extrusion when used alone. The foil pouch can be vacuum or nitrogen filled, in combination with a carton or synthetic paper can.

5. Glass jar, wooden box, carton
Although the gas barrier moisture resistance of the glass jar is very good, it is light transmissive, brittle, heavy and expensive. If the wooden box is not handled properly, it will easily cause the tea to absorb the odor and absorb the water. Carton or paper bags are easy to absorb moisture and are not ideal for tea packaging.
